Shiner volleyball: LCs move into regional quarterfinals

The Lady Comanches volleyball team earned a sweep of Falls City in the bi-district match Thursday night at Seguin ISD’s SAC Center.The first set was a close one as Shiner won 25-20. The Lady Comanches were more dominant in the second set with a 25-13 win.

St. Paul football: Rosehill rallies with 12 fourth-quarter points to defeat Cardinals, 24-13

Moulton cross country: Kittens place No. 13 at state cross-country meet

The Moulton Kittens cross-country team scored 326 points to place No. 13 in the UIL State Cross-Country Meet Girls 1A Friday at Round Rock’s Old Setter’s Park.Ava Olivarez led Moulton with No. 55 in 13 minutes, 39.7 seconds with a pace of 6:50 a mile.Karsyn Blahuta was No.

St. Paul football: BC blanks Cards 48-0

St. Paul got over 150 offensive yards but were unable to get in the end zone in a 48-0 loss at Bryan Brazos Christian on Friday.The Eagles scored 28 first-quarter points on runs of 3 and 9-yards, and passes of 28 and 27 yards.

Moulton cross country: Kittens continue on to state

The Moulton Kittens cross-country have qualified for this week’s UIL state meet as a team with a third-place finish, scoring 55 points.Ava Olivarez was the top finisher with No. 15 in 14 minutes, 28.33 seconds. Addisyn Grieve was No. 37 with 15:40.92, followed by Karsyn Blahuta in 15:43.71.
