SAN ANTONIO – The Hallettsville Brahma golfers team made history by qualifying for the state tournament for the first time after their performance at the Region IV3A Monday and Tuesday, April 15-16 at Mission de Lago Golf Course.

Brahmas take over second place with 17-1 rout of Industrial

The Hallettsville Brahmas atoned for a 4-2 loss to Industrial in Vanderbilt March 26 with a 17-1 routing of the Cobras at The Hardball Field Friday night.The victory put the Brahmas (18-6, 10-3) in sole possession of second place in District 25-AAA.

Brahma golfers advance to Regional tournament

V I C TO R I A – Th e Hallettsville Brahmas didn’t play up to their potential in the District 25-AAA Tournament Monday and Tuesday April 8-9 at Riverside Golf Course, but nonetheless qualified for the 3A Regional IV tournament this week in San Antonio.The Brahmas finished second to Industrial.

The Hallettsville Lady Brahmas celebrated Little Sisters night with a 15-0 victory over Altair Rice Consolidated here Friday in a District 25- AAA game here Friday.Macey Jansky hit her 13th home run of the season as the LB (29-2, 12-0) had 13 hits in 23 at-bats.

The Hallettsville Brahmas began a threegame home stand with a 9-4 victory over Rice Consolidated in a District 25-AAA game here Friday night.Starter and winner Hudson Chenard (7-1) worked five innings and gave up six hits, two runs (one unearned) four walks and struck out six.

The Hallettsville Brahmas had revenge on their minds when they took the field against Yoakum here Friday night in a District 25-AAA contest.The Brahmas atoned for the 4-2 loss to the Bulldogs in Yoakum March 12 with a 10-0 victory.

Brahmas drop to third place with losses to Industrial, Columbus

Back-to-back to back losses last dropped the Hallettsville Brahmas to third place in the District 25-AAA standings.The latest came here Thursday night when district pacesetter Columbus scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 5-2 verdict.
