At Monday’s Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting, LCSO records clerk/school safety liaison Neely Yackel announced the school portion of the safety project goal has been completed. Yackel said the completion of the project was made possible following the most recent donations. Court approves adding full time Grant Administrator position
Marvin and Cathy Boedeker of Boedeker Plastics were recognized at Monday’s Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting. The Boedekers donated to the School Safety Project, which was mandated, but not funded by the Texas State Legislature. The donation goes toward purchasing required safety equipment for all the schools in Lavaca County.
