Classes begin at Sacred Heart Catholic School Tuesday

Classes begin at Sacred Heart Catholic School on Tuesday, Aug. 18, with the opening bell ringing at 7:53 a.m. Classes will be dismissed at the same time as in past years.
Cafeteria prices for the 2026-27 school year are as follows: Pre-K-4 $5; Grades 5-12 $6; milk $.50; faculty - $6; and adult guest - $7.
The SHCS faculty and staff reported back for the this week beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 18 and participated in various staff development activities.
Sacred Heart Catholic High School students will continue to enroll in several dual credit courses offered by Victoria College on the SHCHS campus through the Distance Learning Program.
Advanced Placement Courses and Honor Courses will also continue to be offered, along with some additional Gifted and Talented instruction.
The school reports that 100% of the SHCHS graduating class of 2026 will continue their formal education this fall at a college, university, vocational school, or military.

Sacred Heart Catholic School will continue the SHINE Program (Sacred Heart Individual Needs Education) for the second year. Last year the program serviced over 30 students in various educational needs from all levels. The services provided assistance in many areas for these students. It is Sacred Heart’s desire to provide a Catholic environment to students with individual needs. The inclusion program provided by SHINE will not only help children with a variety of needs but also help general education students and staff become more empathetic to students who are different from them.
