Court adopts NNR tax rate/approves budget

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met Monday and approved the No-New-Tax Rate(NNR) of .6041 cents per $100 valuation for 2026-27.

The court voted unanimously, by a show of hands, in adopting the property tax rate that includes .4905 cents for the Gen eral Fund and .1136 for the Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) fund.
