HISD board approves district marshal

Following executive session at Monday’s Hallettsville ISD Board of Trustees meeting, the board named Callie Kresta as the district’s safety and security coordinator and school marshal for the 2026-27 school year.

Kresta, who has served as the Lady Brahmas softball coach, in which her 2022 team won the Class 3A state championship, resigned that position to assume the marshal role.
