Moulton ISD starts new school year, Thursday, Aug. 13

Moulton ISD officially started this year’s school term with new staff members having workdays this Wednesday and Thursday and BTS workdays set for Aug. 7 through Aug. 12.

Classes will begin on Thursday, Aug. 13 as MISD students return for the 2026-27 school year.

Regarding the MISD calendar, the Thanksgiving break will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Friday, Nov. 27 and the Christmas break will take place Monday, Dec. 21 through Friday, Jan. 1. Students will return to classes in 2027 on Monday, Jan. 4.

Students and teachers will take Friday, March 12 and Monday, March 15 as Spring break and the last day of school for 26-27 is Thursday, May 13.

Moulton High School seniors will graduate on Friday, May 14.
