New World Screwworm count continues to rise

Cases of the New World Screwworm (NWS) continue to rise, specifically located in counties in western Texas.The latest case was reported on June 12 in Sutton County, which has Sonora as its county seat.All total there have been 12 identified cases of the NWS with eight found in cattle, two in goats, and one each in a sheep and a dog.The nearest in Lavaca and DeWitt County was discovered in…
