Nursing home vets celebrate

To honor our nation’s 250th birthday, Lavaca Memorial VFW Post 6382 and Auxiliary provided area nursing home vets with hats and t-shirts to celebrate the event.

Celebrating the event on Friday, July 3, the organization presented gift bags to veteran residents who reside at Steven’s Nursing and Rehab 4, Hallettsville Rehab and Nursing 19, and Shiner Nursing Home 7.
