Two missing children found safe

Two children who went missing in a rural area between Hallettsville and Victoria last Sunday were safely located.
That day, the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the children’s father saying his children were missing. Patrol deputies responded to a ranch off U.S. Highway 77 South and joined the search on a rural property covering more than 160 acres.
