YEDC, Joint City Council approve grant applications

The Yoakum Economic Development Corporation (YEDC) approved three grant applications during its meeting June 16. A subsequent Joint YEDC/City Council meeting was held afterward.

The proposed Type B sales tax funding supported a childcare facility, a business redevelopment project, and improvements to a local nursery.
