Hallettsville ISD has launched a new course this year that will enable junior and senior students to gain knowledge in aerospace and aviation. The Introduction to Aerospace and Aviation will have 11 students enrolled. Community members and members of the Janak family came together at the Queen of Peace Cemetery in Sweet Home Aug. 26 to honor eight Janak brothers who served in both World War II and the Korean War. The eight brothers in the Janak family who served were Jerome John Janak Sr.
