Henry Joe Jasek recognized for seven decades in journalism

Long-time type setter and staff writer of the Hallettsville Publishing Co. Henry Jasek was recognized Thursday evening, Nov. 20 for 70 years of dedicated service in journalism. Jasek, who started in the newspaper business in 1956, was presented a plaque during the ceremony.

New research center to open at Lavaca Historical Museum
