MISD to host Veterans Day event

The Moulton Independent School District will be hosting a Veterans Day event next week.On next Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m., there will be a program for Veterans at Moulton ISD in the school gymnasium.

Council discusses gaming ordinance

The Moulton City Council discussed an ordinance regarding games in local gas stations at the Oct. 14 council meeting.“This is for gaming machines in the city, they have some concerns about it,” City Administrator LuAnn Rogers said. “We had an old ordinance from 2013, and it needs updating.

Yoakum Vietnam veteran revisits the time he served

A Yoakum Vietnam Veteran recently took a blast from the past and visited places that he had served in Vietnam.Larry Kupka went on a trip to Vietnam with his son, Jason and Jason's wife Sarah. " I did multiple tours to Vietnam from February 1968 to April 1970," Kupka said.
