Cougars defeat Brahmas, 35-28

The Hallettsville Brahmas won the battle, but lost the war in a 35 28 loss to Brazos Friday night.

The Brahmas out- gained the Cougars 311 yards to 294 and costly penalties led to their demise.

The game was tied on four occasions – the last at 28-28 – before the Cougars scored the go-ahead touchdown with 6:17 remaining in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run by Chase Kuhn.
