Frank Bernard Bludau Sr.

Frank Bernard Bludau Sr., of Hallettsville, passed away at the age of 96 on Aug. 22, 2024.He was born on Oct. 12, 1927, in Hallettsville.  He was the fourth child in a family of 11 to Andres and Annie Friesenhahn Bludau.He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and VFW.

Karen Ruth Zavesky, 67, of Hallettsville, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on July 10, 2024.  She was born on Jan. 10, 1957, in Dayton, Texas to Joseph and Faye Marie Robinson Vavrusa.She was a graduate of Hallettsville High School where she met the love of her life, Ricky Zavesky.

Erwin Edward Dostalik, 95, of Houston passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 in Kindred Hospital Houston Northwest. He was born Dec. 1, 1928 in Praha, to Louis J. and Della Novak Dostalik. Erwin grew up on big farms picking cotton at home and for other people.
