Evelyn Hoffer, 96, of Hallettsville, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024.  She was born June 12, 1928, to Alvin and Annie Schneider, the first of six children. On Feb. 21, 1950, she married Leo Hoffer Jr. and together they raised four children.

On July 7, 2024, Dorothy Mildred Mladenka Pustka Gast of Yoakum, passed from this world after a short illness at the age of 99. She died at home under the loving care of her granddaughter, Jackie Rodriguez and her daughter, Susan Williams, as well as all the other members of the Williams family.
