Abygail Tinajero will attempt to win a medal in the 400-meter dash on Saturday at the UIL state track and field meet at the University of Texas’s Mike A. Meyers Stadium. She is scheduled to run around 6:45 p.m.
Tinajero advanced to the state meet after winning the 400 finals April 19 at the regional meet with a time of 1 minutes, 1.4 seconds. She got second in the preliminaries with 1:02.27.
