Hallettsville was a team with lots of speed but Shiner compounded the situation with its own errors. Jorian Wilson threw two touchdowns passes, Jashaun Price ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown with Damarion Austin and Tradyn Williams also scoring as the Brahmas dealt the Comanches a 41-8 loss at Comanche Stadium to open the season.
