KARNES CITY – It took two innings before the Hallettsville Lady Brahma bats got going and when they did, the rout was on.The LB defeated Natalia, 10-0, Thursday at Badger Field in a regional playoff game.

Kasey Harper, Layten Kolacny and Layne Gerke were named Athletes of the Year at the Hallettsville Sports Award Ceremony held in the KC Hall Sunday night.Harper was all-district in volleyball and basketball and was on the track team.The following gained MVP awards.

YHS Bulldog Baseball Team ends season with win against Cowboys

The Yoakum High School (YHS) Bulldogs Baseball Team concluded the 2024 season with a 4-0 win against Edna at Parents Night April 23 at home.The Bulldogs scored one run in the first inning and brought in three across the plate in the fourth frame.
