Brahmas walk it off in victory over Cardinals

In a pitcher’s dual, the Brahmas took a huge 2-1 District 25-AAA victory over Columbus here Tuesday on a night veterans and first responders were honored.Hudson Chenard scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning for the margin of victory.

SEALY – The Indianettes pulled off a shocker with a 4-3 victory over No. 4 ranked Sealy Tuesday, April 7.Paelyn Etzler and Avery Beach combined for a four-hitter.Etzler worked the first four innings and gave up two hits, two runs, walked three and struck out five.

The Shiner junior high track teams competed in the district meet last month in Weimar with the 8th grade girls claiming the district title.7th GirlsShiner tied for second with Ganado with 143 points.100 — 1st, Presley Pohler, 13.57; 2nd, Piper Wallace, 14.09; 9th, Emersyn Kusak, 15.47.

Shiner baseball: Shiner hands ‘Horns first district loss, produce the hits in 16-0 win vs Weimar

The Shiner girls and boys track and field teams competed in the 28-2A meet April 8-9 in Ganado.The varsity boys won the 28-2A team title.Varsity GirlsThe Lady Comanches booked 84 points for fifth place and qualified 10 athletes in eight events to the area meet in Granger today.
