Moulton girls basketball: Kittens win big against Runge, A-T

The Moulton Kittens defeated Runge and Austwell-Tivoli in recent district action with Mary-Claire O’Leary and Torin Langston leading the Kittens. Moulton 50, Runge 20 O’Leary booked 20 points and Langston had a dozen as the Kittens won at Runge 50-20 on Dec. 16.

Shiner girls basketball: Lady Comanches down Bloomington in district game

Addy Siegel and Kailey Boedeker each scored eight points to guide the Lady Comanches to a 40-12 win at Bloomington Friday in district play. Shiner had a slow start but led 7-2 after the first frame and went on a 10-4 run in the second box for a 17-6 halftime advantage.

Yoakum volleyball: Lady Bulldog All-State awards

A trio of Yoakum volleyball players received All-State awards. Macie Blakeney and Jayana Phillips made  the All-State team while Macie Williams got Academic All-State. The Lady Bulldogs finished as Region IV-3A runner ups.

St. Paul football: 2022 Cardinal post-season awards

On the heels of their fifth straight season of playing in the state championship match, the St. Paul Cardinals had plenty of players make All-State and All-District. All-State Selected for the First Team Offense is lineman Carson McNabb, running back Zane Barta and tight end Josh Bonorden.
