St. Paul softball: Lady Cards win three at Flatonia tournament

The Lady Cardinals softball team lost at La Grange and won three at the Flatonia tournament for a total of five games from last week.La Grange 4, St. Paul 0Reese Patek went 2-for-3 with Eden Rodriguez and Presley Tuch each getting one hit as St. Paul came up short at La Grange 4-0 on March 3.

SH outlasts El Campo

The Indianettes held off after an 11th hour rally by El Campo to take a 12-10 victory over the Ladybirds here Monday, Feb. 23.Indianettes had what seemed like a safe 12-7 lead going into the top of the seventh inning before El Campo scored three runs before the final out was made.

Opening day ceremonies for Hallettsville LL Saturday

Opening day ceremonies for Hallettsville Little League Baseball/Softball is set for this Saturday with the first pitch thrown by Charlie Haas representing the Sacred Heart Federal Credit Union doing the honors.The ceremony program will begin at 10 a.m.

Lady Brahmas go 4-1 in Weimar Tournament

WEIMAR – The Lady Brahmas won three games and lost two in the Weimar Tournament.LB 8, Weimar 4In the final game Saturday, Hallettsville defeated Weimar, 8-4.Hallettsville produced eight hits.Elizabeth Felcman was the winning pitcher.

Lady Brahmas win district opener

The Lady Brahmas runruled Tidehaven 15-0 in five innings in the District 25- AAA opener for both teams here Tuesday, Feb. 24.Grace Halata gave up one hit, walked five and struck out seven in pitching all five innings. She also hit her first home run of the season, doubled and went 2-for-3.

Brahmas win three in Karnes City

KARNES CITY – The Hallettsville Brahmas won three games and lost one in the in Inaugural Karnes City Classic.The only loss was a 6-3 decision to Kenedy.HB 5, Johnson City 2The Brahmas defeated Johnson City Friday.The Brahmas had seven hits with Hudson Chenard and Weston Loudon both collecting two.

Brahmas win Weimar Tournament

The Hallettsville Brahmas won first place in the Weimar Tournament Monday, March 23 with a team total of 339.Canyon Zavesky shot an 81 and was second tournament medalist.Eli Ferguson and Liam Ferguson both shot an 83, Colt Zavesky a 92 and Cameron Cinadr a 1-3.

Nettes finish third

Sacred Heart finished third in the Third Annual Booster Club Tournament.In its final game Saturday night, SH waylaid Austin Hyde Park 17-2 after scoring 12 runs in the first inning.The Indianettes garnered nine hits with Avery Beach going 3-for-4 with four runs batted in.
