LB soccer defeats Columbus, 3-1

Lady Brahma soccer broke a 1-1 tie with two goals in the second half to take a 3-1 victory over Columbus here Thursday night.The LB first goal in the first half was scored by Abby Ressler and Ava Prasek and Kaisly Bludau scored the second half goals.

Brahmas Defeat Alumni

The Brahmas defeated the Alumni 5-2 in a rain shortened game Saturday afternoon.Hudson Chenard started on the mound for the Brahmas and struck out all six batters he faced.Weston Loudon threw two innings and retired all six batters he faced with two strikeouts.

Brahma JV Tournament starts Thursday

The Hallettsville Jr. Varsity Tournament starts Thursday and runs through Saturday.Thursday Feb. 19 - Yoakum vs. Goliad, 10 a.m. Loser plays at 3 p.m. Friday and the winner at 5:30 p.m. Industrial vs. Navarro, noon. Brahmas victors over Palacios, 54-49

The Brahmas led after every quarter in a 54-49 victory over Palacios in a District 25-AAA game here Tuesday, Feb. 10.The Brahmas had a 7-2 run in the first period with Gavyn Chapa hitting two threes and two free throws for a 17-10 lead.

LB split opening games

The Lady Brahmas opened the season with a win over Odem and a loss to El Campo.The LB defeated Odem 12-0 in four and a half innings here Friday.The Hallettsville offense produced 12 hits and Grace Halata struck out 11 and walked four in the four and a half inning game.

’Nettes begin season 2-0

The Indianettes opened the 2026 season with two victories.The latest was a an 8-7 walk-off win over New Braunfels Thunder here Thursday.Phoenix Richter scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh on a fielder’s choice.Ainsley Grahmann was the winning pitcher in relief.

LB win regular season finale

The Lady Brahmas ended the regular season with a 37-33 low-scoring victory over Palacios on Sr. Night here Tuesday, Feb. 10 in a District 25- AAA game.Palacios took advantage of Hallettsville turnovers to take a 9-8 lead at the first break.

Poth prevails in bi-district game

SEGUIN – The Lady Brahmas’ season came to a crashing halt with a 50-24 loss to Poth in a 3A, Division I bi-district playoff game Monday night in the Seguin High School Activities Center.

Friday the 13th was not bad luck for the Indianettes.Sacred Heart dominated Wacoo Bishop Reicher 59-33 in a TAPPS Division 4 bi-district game here Friday.Freshman Paelyn Etzler poured in a careerhigh and game-high 23 points for the Indianettes.
