Shiner boys basketball: Comanches beat LHS, Weimar in district games

The Comanches won two district games last week, defeating Louise at home Jan. 6 and winning at Weimar Friday.Shiner 71, Louise 28Shiner outscored the Hornets 32-0 in the first quarter and rolled to a 71-28 win.

Shiner girls basketball: Shiner girls split with Louise, Weimar

The Lady Comanches went 1-1 in two district games last week against Louise and Weimar.Shiner 58, Louise 9Kenzie Springfield scored 18 points, Addy Siegel bagged 12 points with Kallee Kiffer booking 10 points and getting 13 rebounds in Shiner’s 58-9 win over Louise Jan. 6 at home.

St. Paul boys basketball: Cards dominate EB with big 2nd half

The St. Paul Cardinals improved ball security and their offensive strategy in the second half against East Bernard.The improvements helped the Cardinals outscore the Brahmas 42-24 for a 66-48 win Friday at St. Paul High School.
