Moulton baseball: Bobkatz go 1-2 in three games last week

Little League starts 2025 season

The 2025 Hallettsville Little League season started Saturday morning with all of the teams participating in the league parading on to the softball field for the opening day ceremonies.

Brahmas second in District golf

The Hallettsville Brahmas finished second in the District 25-AAA golf tournament held in Bay City Monday.Liam Ferguson shot an 88, brother Elias Ferguson carded a 89, Trace Butschek 90, Bill Satterwhite 93 and Garret Appelt 103.The Brahmas shot a team total of 360 to qualify for regional.

Indians stay undefeated in District after wins over St. Paul, Bracken

Pitching carried the Sacred Heart Indians to two TAPPS District 5 Division 4 victories last week.The latest was a 6-0 win over St. Paul here Friday.Charlie Shank pitched a one-hitter. And at one time, he retired 15 batters in a row before Clay Watkins was safe on an error in the sixth inning.

Brahmas sweep Rice

The Hallettsville Brahmas swept Rice Consolidated in two District 25-AAA games last week.The Brahmas are 15-3 overall and 6-0 in district. They hold a twogame lead over Tidehaven, Industrial and Columbus going into play this week.

Lady Brahmas tied for District 25-AAA lead

The best way to describe the Hallettsville Lady Brahmas’ District 25-AAA victory over El Maton Tidehaven is “big.”The LB (15-3, 7-2) scored four runs in the first inning and held on for a 5-4 win over the Tigerettes here Tuesday, March 25.The LB had lost, 4-2, to Tidehaven Feb. 25.

St. Paul track and field: Cards thinclads run at Fayetteville meet
