The Shiner Junior Varsity Purple team won the freshmen division of the Schulenburg Tournament on Aug. 11. The Lady Comanches played four matches and won four matches.

The St. Paul Lady Cardinals volleyball posted a 4-1 record and placed  second in the Yorktown Tournament Friday and Saturday.

The Moulton varsity cross-country teams kicked off their season at the Yoakum Bullgog Invitational on Saturday with the girls placing fifth.Varsity Girls (1.5 miles)The Kittens recorded 102 points and were led by Ava Olivarez, who earned a top 10 finish with eighth in 10 minutes, 28.3 seconds.
