Shiner football: Shiner overcomes early deficit to beat Bremond in state semis

CYPRESS — It took every player and support personnel, and fan or other supporter to help the Shiner football team return to the state championship game.Shiner rallied to take down Region 3 champion Bremond 41-33 at Cy-Fair Federal Credit Union Stadium in Cypress on Thursday night.

Moulton girls basketball: Kittens go perfect in winning home tournament

The Moulton Kittens won all four of their games at the Kittens Klassic Tournament last Thursday through Saturday.Addison Simper was selected as the Tournament MVP. Reese Nieto, Audrey Swinford and Karsyn Blahuta were chosen to the All-Tournament Team.

LA GRANGE – The Hallettsville Brahmas (2-6) went winless in the first-ever Schmeckenfest Tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday.The Brahmas came close with a three-point loss to Navarro a fivepoint loss to Brazos.

Indianettes garner 2nd place in FA Tourney

VICTORIA – The Sacred Heart Indianettes took second place in the Victoria Faith Academy Tournament.The only loss came to the Victoria Cobras, 38- 36. The score book was not available for this game.Kaycee Schindler, Kenzie Chance and Harley Wilson were named to the All-Tournament team.
