St. Paul football: Cardinals come from behind against SH to win district opener

Trailing Sacred Heart 24-22 with less than five minutes left in the game, St. Paul scored 16 points to overtake the Indians and win the district oopner 38-24 on Friday. Zane Barta scored on a 5-yard run with 4:51 mark to put the Cardinals ahead 30-24 after he also scored the two-point play.

St. Paul cross country: Lady Cards win RTC meet

The St. Paul cross-country teams competed in the Round Top Annual Festival Hill meet on Oct. 8. Both varsity teams got top two with the Lady Cardinals taking first place.

Shiner October cross country meet: Lady Comanches come in first

Shiner and St. Paul cross-country teams competed in the second Shiner meet Saturday at Green-Dickson Park. Shiner Varsity Girls The Lady Comanches scored 39 points to win the 1A-2A division. Riley Rainosek was third in 12 minutes, 42.01 seconds.

St. Paul volleyball: Concordia downs St. Paul in first-ever meeting between schools

Like a couple of other teams in the district, the Pflugerville Concordia Lady Cardinals were a little mysterious to their avian counterparts in Shiner. St. Paul and Concordia faced off for the first time ever Monday at St. Paul High School with Concordia taking a sweep 25-21, 25-18, 25-14.
