St. Paul baseball: Cardinals hold off Bellville Faith in 5-4 bi-district win

FAYETTEVILLE — Plating three runs in the top of the sixth ultimately saw St. Paul squeak by Bellville Faith Academy 5-4 in the bi-district game Saturday in Fayetteville.

St. Paul golf: STATE CHAMPS! Lady Cards win state golf title; boys 7th

The Lady Cardinals captured the TAPPS 2A 2026 state golf title at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco on April 20-21.St. Paul shot a 354 on April 20 and then a 188, playing only nine holes on April 21 due to weather.Faith Brown shot 80-44-124 for third medalist and was named to the All-State Team.

St. Paul golf: SP girls golf regional champs; Cardinals come in third place

The St. Paul golf teams competed at district and regional meets in recent weeks and were set to play at state on Monday and Tuesday of this week.GirlsThe Lady Cardinals golf team won the regional meet by shooting 381.Riley Mozisek shot an 83 and was first individual medalist.

St. Paul baseball: Cardinal nine defeat Hill Country, Davinci; fall to Sacred Heart

The St. Paul Cardinals were held to three hits in a  5-0 home loss to Sacred Heart in a game that took nearly a week.The game was originally scheduled for the evening of April 9 and lasted 1 2/3 innings before weather caused the game to be suspended, and then resumed on April 15.

St. Paul track and field: Lady Cardinals TF secure district title; Cards get second

The St. Paul girls track and field team earned a district title and the Cardinals came in second place. The regional meet is scheduled to be held April 30 back at Antonian with 12 Lady Cardinal and seven Cardinal athletes in individual events alongside all relay teams.

Evan Rother was 3-for-3 with a double, Jace Matias batted 2-for-3 with one run and CJ Fogle doubled and brought in one run in St. Paul’s 3-2 loss at Bulverde Bracken Christian April 7.The Warriors opened scoring with one run in the second and went up 2-0 in the third. St.

St. Paul softball: SH stages late rally to down Lady Cards

The Sacred Heart Indianettes got the bats going late.The Indianettes outscored St. Paul 13-2 in the last three innings for a 16-9 comeback win March 30 at the Shiner Starplex.Sacred Heart totaled 19 hits including four home runs with Avery Beach hitting two of them.St.
