Indians Begin with 21 players

New Sacred Heart head coach Alex Seydler had 21 players at the Indians’ first practice Monday morning.

“We had a good first day, “Seydler said. “I am expecting two more players.”

Seydler inherits a veteran team that went 6-6 in 2022 and advanced to the area round of the playoffs. The Indians lost just two seniors and also a player who transferred.

The Indians’ first scrimmage is Thursday, Aug. 10 with Louise and Woodsboro in Louise. The second is Thursday, Aug. 17 in Weimar with Rice Consolidated and the Wildcats.
