Jendrzey, PA receives CHC Dan Wilford Award

On March 28 the Yoakum Community Hospital celebrated Elizabeth Jendrzey, PA as the local recipient of the CHC Dan Wilford award. This award is to recognize persons who demonstrate the following:

• Remarkable concern for the welfare and happiness of patients

• Significant contribution to the improvement of their community’s health and welfare

•A level of commitment to community service beyond the daily operation of the facility

•Extraordinary acts of kindness, positive effects on others

• Competent consistent and people oriented day-to-day performance.

Elizabeth is not only a remarkable co-worker she is a phenomenal young woman who puts forth 100% in all she does every day, both on the clock and off.

She is employed at YCH as a Physician Assistant .(PA)..She.works. both on the medical surgical floor as well as in our primary care office.

Elizabeth was described as being not only a smart, beautiful soul that gives above and beyond at anything she does — she is a respected team member who will greet you with a smile to begin the day and give you a hug at the end of a really rough shift. She.is.respected.by.not. only the staff, but the patients love her and respect her decisions and guidance regarding .their.care..She.is.a. true team player that we are proud to call a colleague and friend.
