Newest addition to Shiner’s brew crew

Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner is proud to announce that they have added another graduated brewer to their crew. Eileen Hayek, the brewery’s quality assurance manager, was named as that individual last week during a company-wide meeting. Hayak received her diploma in brewing from Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD), which has the most widely recognized brewing qualifications in the world. She is pictured here with Tom Fiorenzi, director of brewery operations, brewmaster Jimmy Mauric, and assistant brewmaster Greg Hybner, all of whom also hold diplomas in brewing.
