History on the Wing

It was like stepping back in time as vintage biplanes raced past wing to wing at what had to be no more than 75 feet off the ground – close enough to the ground you could see a big ol’ grin on both pilots’ faces, that’s for sure – as some flew and others A-hooogaa’d their way out onto the field Saturday.

More than 100 Ford Model T owners and even more than that in pilots and their planes all converged at Hallettsville Municipal Airport Saturday for the 8th annual Texas Barnstormers Fly-in and the Texas T-Party event.
