DeWitt County Sheriff’s Report, July 8 - 14

DeWitt County law enforcement officers made 19 arrests between July 8 and July 14.

Those arrests contributed to an average daily prisoner population of 93 inmates at the DeWitt County Jail, 13 of whom included prisoners housed for other agencies.

Arrests

Friday, July 8

  • Latoria Herron, 45, of Cuero, for failure to appear or bond forfeiture for controlled substance possession. $2,500 bond. Cuero Police Department (CPD)
  • Landon Jaxson Sanders, 20, of Columbia, Mississippi, for marijuana possession in a drug-free zone. $5,000 bond. (CPD)
  • Raymond Rene Manchaca, 52, of Edna, for property theft. $1,000 bond. DeWitt County Sheriff's Office (DCSO)
  • Condre Douglas, 26, of Victoria, for marijuana possession. $2,000 bond. Department of Public Safety (DPS)
  • Bishop Arriaga, 22, of Bay City, for marijuana possession. $2,000 bond. (DPS)

Saturday, July 9

  • Joshua Fuentes, 24, of Smithville, for intoxicated driving. $2,000 bond. (DCSO)
  • Michael Marc Alvarado, 29, of Cuero, for public intoxication. $386 fine. (DCSO).
  • Jesus Valez-Sarinana, 23, of Smithville, for public intoxication. $386 fine. (DCSO)
  • Jason Lee Gonzales, 23, of Cuero, for driving with an invalid license and violating a promise to appear. $642 fine. (DCSO)
  • Coulton Shane Greenhaw, 29, of Yorktown, on Capias Pro fine warrants for lacking a driver’s license and failure to appear. $964 fine. (DCSO)
  • Moses Galindo, 59, of Cuero, for cruelty to non-livestock animals and felony bail jumping/failure to appear. $40,000 bond. (DCSO)

Monday, July 11

  • Michael Kevin Thomas, 55, of Westhoff, for family violence with previous convictions. $30,000 bond. (DCSO)
  • Vincent Rene Licon, 21, of Cuero, for probation violation following a theft charge. $30,000 bond. (DCSO)
  • Moses Galindo, 59, of Cuero, on a Lavaca Co. warrant for failure to identify by giving false or fictitious information. $5,000 bond. (DCSO).

Tuesday, July 12

  • James William Salles, 53, of Cuero, for driving with an invalid license. $1,000 bond. (CPD)

Wednesday, July 13

  • John Eric Ortiz, 35, of Yorktown, for probation violation following a controlled substance possession charge. No bond awarded. (DCSO)
  • Alister Urie Ordonez, 26, of Victoria, for family violence. $40,000 bond. (DCSO)

Thursday, July 14

  • Tyree J Cunningham, 23, of San Antonio, for marijuana possession in a drug-free zone, unlawfully carrying a weapon, a Bexar Co. warrant for evading arrest or detention, and criminal mischief. $13,000 bond. (CPD)
  • Tyrone Leigh, 37, of Cuero, for parole violation. No bond awarded. (CPD)
