Henry Joe Jasek recognized for seven decades in journalism

Long-time type setter and staff writer of the Hallettsville Publishing Co. Henry Jasek was recognized Thursday evening, Nov. 20 for 70 years of dedicated service in journalism. Jasek, who started in the newspaper business in 1956, was presented a plaque during the ceremony. Surrounded by him on the photo are members of his family and colleagues at the newspaper.
