HPD makes drug arrest in City Park
The Hallettsville Police Department conducted an arrest of two individuals at the Hallettsville City Park with one discovered to be in possession of drug.
According to a HPD Facebook post, at approximately 12:27 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, officers made contact with three individuals at the city park after curfew hours.
During the investigation, a probable cause search led to the discovery of 66 ecstasy pills and three THC vape pens.
The Hallettsville PD arrested Taylor Davis, 28, for possession of a controlled s u b s t a n c e ( P G 2 <4g<400g).
A second individual was taken into custody on three outstanding warrants.
Both subjects were transported and booked into the Lavaca County Jail. Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
“If you have any information regarding illicit drug activity, please contact the Hallettsville PD,” a statement from the Facebook post said. “Let’s work together to keep this poison out of our communities and away from our children.”
