Icy Fronts chill area

Chilly mornings along with scattered ice coverage greeted early risers this past weekend following two strong polar fronts. The cold spread throughout the area beginning Jan. 23rd and lasted until Jan. 27th when the mercury dropped to 19 degrees, which is the coldest since last year on Jan. 22nd when the mercury dropped to 17 degrees and the area picked up a dusting of snow and sleet.The fronts…
