March proclaimed Quilt Celebration Month

    Mayor Fred Hilscher signed a proclamation declaring March as Quilt Celebration Month in Shiner. The “Spring into Quilting” show is Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 at the Shiner Methodist Church Activity Center (directly behind the church) off Hwy 90A east. There will be many gorgeous entries that include large and small quilts, plus vendors, demonstrations, a block contest, quilt boutique, block challenge, door prizes and food and drink.
