    The 2022 Gubernatorial Primary Runoff Elections are Tuesday, May 24, with early voting occurring between May 16 and 20 in Lavaca and DeWitt Counties.

     

    Voters who participated in the March 1 Gubernatorial Primary Elections may only participate in the runoff election for the same party; otherwise, registered voters can cast their ballots for either runoff election. Qualified voters can vote in favor of all candidates in the Nov. 8 general election regardless of primary election participation.

     

    Early voting in Lavaca County will be held at the Lavaca County Courthouse Annex Building from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. from May 16 through May 18 and from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on May 19 and May 20. Lavaca County ballots by mail should be sent to Early Voting Clerk Amy Kloesel at P.O Box 727 at 412 North Texana St. in Hallettsville 77964 and must be received no later than May 13.

     

    Early voting in DeWitt County will be held at the DeWitt County Annex Building at 115 North Gonzales St., Suite A in Cuero, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. from May 16 until May 20. DeWitt County voters can participate in county-wide polling on election day at any open polling locations: Cuero Regional Hospital Education Classroom, Harry O. Gibson Center, St. Paul Lutheran Church and St. John Lutheran Church.

     

    Election Day voting on May 24 will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. in both Lavaca and DeWitt Counties.
