Retired Lt. Col. Jerry Tanner will serve as guest speaker and refreshments will be served at the ceremony.

Poppy Sales:

On Friday, May 24, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 230 will be distributing poppies and invite Hallettsville residents to stop by to receive a poppy in exchange for a donation.

Wearing the poppy is done to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms of our country.

Members of the Auxiliary will be located at Hoffer’s Drive-In, Brookshire Brothers and Kountry Bakery from 7 a.m. to noon.

Stop by to pick up a poppy and honor our fallen soldiers as well as show your pride in America.
