Moulton ISD to host Junior Livestock

Moulton ISD is gearing up for its Moulton Junior Livestock Association Show on Sunday, Jan. 14.

The event will take place in the Show Barn, or the new Bus Shed, at the Moulton ISD campus. Broilers will be judged first beginning at 11 a.m. that day. Afterwards, judges will assess lambs, barrows, and steers in that order.

The next day, on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 6:30 p.m., there will be a buyers’ social at the American Legion Hall. An auction and premium sell will commence and there will be refreshments and stew being served.

Following that, Grand and Reserve Champions are asked to remain at the hall for pictures with the exhibitors at 8 p.m.

The Moulton Junior Livestock Association Board of Directors wants to shout out the support they’ve received from the community and hopes there will be further support.
