Newspaper Staffers honored by Hallettsville ISD

Hallettsville Tribune-Herald’s Senior Staff Writer Jimmy Appelt and Sports Editor Chuck Grafe were both honored by the Hallettsville Independent School District with the Stand Up for Public Schools Awards for their outstanding coverage of the local school district at last week’s monthly meeting of the district’s board of directors. They were recognized and presented their awards by HISD’s Board President Robert Lundy. Please let them both know how much you appreciate what they do the next time you see them out and about.
