Papers printing one day early

The Lavaca County newspapers including the Hallettsville Tribune Herald, Yoakum Herald-Times, Shiner Gazette and Moulton Eagle as well as the Luling Newsboy, will all be printing one day earlier next week for New Year’s Day.

With the normal distribution day on Wednesdays, and New Year’s Day falling on a Wednesday, county papers will be distributed one day earlier.

The papers will be sent to the printer on Monday, Dec. 30 and will be distributed to newsstands and post offices on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

The deadline for advertisements and articles for all papers is Friday, Dec. 27 at 3 p.m.
