Powering Up the Pool

    GVEC recently donated a $20,000 Power Up Grant to the Lavaca Swimming Pool to help the local nonprofit wrap up its construction of its splash pad water park addition at the local swimming pool as well as make a few other improvements around the historic complex.

    Gathered for the day’s presentation were Hallettsville Mayor Alice Summers, Audrey Barrera, Jennifer Hagan, Allison Steffek, Tim Decker, Mike Jansky, Shawn and Aryah Fundenberger, and Sheriff Micah Harmon.
