Shiner Game & Fish League to hold BBQ fundraiser October 18

On Wednesday, October 18, the Shiner Game and Fish League will be having a full slab of pork ribs BBQ fundraiser, along with giblet rice in quart size servings, with proceeds benefiting park projects.
The barbecue will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. at Arthur Kaspar Pavilion.
One whole slab of pork ribs is $25 per slab. A quart of giblet rice is $5/quart.
Tickets for the ribs and/or rice may be purchased at Patek Grocery and Market, Boehm Tractor Sales, Maeker’s Sausage & Processing, Howard’s, Bea’s Place, Parker Lumber, Maeker’s Liquor, Shoppa’s John Deere, Chumchal Insurance and Wendel’s Jewelry, as well as from any Board of Directors member. A limited number of tickets will be sold.
The Game and Fish League has been supporting projects at Green Dickson Park since it was built in the 1960s.
