Veteran Appreciation

On April 2 the Veterans of Lavaca County were honored at the annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner held at the Hallettsville Knights of Columbus Hall.

Over 500 people were in attendance. Veterans and their families were able to visit, enjoy a delicious meal along with a beautiful program given. Two of Lavaca County’s oldest veterans were in attendance,

Arthur Etzler Sr., who is 102 and Henry J. Pekar, 95, who both served in World War II.
