Wild Game Supper Saturday

The annual Wild Game Supper/Big Buck Contest/Merchant Booth will take place this Saturday evening, at the Hallettsville K of C Hall

m. with a social hour until 6:30 p.m. when the meal will be served. Admission to the hall is $12 per person that includes the meal.

The traditional meal is cooked by experienced chefs, who marinate, season and cook to the delight of all.

The meal consists of the best tasting wild game including venison, wild hog, duck, chili, sausage, duck, gumbo, crawfish, beans, wild rice and more.

A highlight of the evening will be the giving away of a 2023 Kawasaki 4010 Mule ATV with 12- foot trailer, all valued at $17,500.

In addition, second prize is a North Star NS-15 5.56/.223 Black rifle ($1,099.99), third prize, a CZ 1012 12 gauge Max 5 shotgun ($699.99), fourth prize, a Citadel Lever Action .410 shotgun ($599.99), fifth prize, a Ruger American 6.5 Creedmore Bronze/Go Wild ($550) and sixth prize, a Savage 64 FVSR .22 LR rifle ($199.99).

Also taking place at the supper is the annual drawing for 75 guns.

Those attending the Wild Game Supper will also have the opportunity to meet and talk to the hunters who bagged the big bucks as well as view commercial displays.

Tickets for the give-away prizes are available at Hoffer’s Drive-In Grocery, Rainosek’s True Value, and the K of C Hall, as well as being available on the Hallettsville K of C website and the night of the Wild Game Supper.
