Shiner Catholic School honors the Greens with 2022 Seton Award

Shiner Catholic School honored Adam and Carla Green as the 2022 Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton Award recipients.

Adam and Carla have been a part of the SCS family since 2007. Their three children all graduated from Shiner Catholic Schools.

Even though their children have moved on, they continue to serve. Carla assists with the noodle soup dinner and talent show. She is also a tremendous help as a classroom and office substitute.

Adam serves as the chairman of the school’s finance council and dedicates countless hours to make sure our school is in top fiscal shape.

Each year the Diocese of Victoria, Office of Catholic Schools, hosts an evening event to honor those nominated from each Catholic school in the Diocese of Victoria. That event was held in Shiner this year at the local KC Hall.

“Our school has been, and continues to be, blessed beyond measure by these two kind and giving individuals,” said principal Neely Yackel.
