DeWitt County Arrest Report, May 13-19 2022

DeWitt County law enforcement officers made arrests between May 13 and May 19.

Those arrests contributed to an average daily prisoner population of 94 inmates at the DeWitt County Jail, 14 of whom included prisoners housed for other agencies.

Friday, May 13

  • Daniel Wayne Squyres, 37, of Cuero, was arrested on two counts of controlled substance possession in a drug-free zone. Bond was set at $15,000. (CPD)
  • Joiri Shynell Swearengen, 22, of Cuero,  was arrested on a probation violation warrant following a controlled substance possession in a drug-free zone conviction. Bond was set at $30,000. (DCSO)
  • Gabriel Lee Alvarez, 45, of Yorktown, was arrested on two counts of family violence. Bond was set at $79,000. (DCSO)
  • Cesar Steve Portillo, 41, of Cuero, was arrested for dangerous drug possession and marijuana possession in a drug-free zone. Bond was set at $8,000. (CPD)
  • Jonathan Paul Bega, 22, of Round Rock, was arrested for marijuana possession. Bond was set at $2,000. (DPS)
  • Terri Danielle Riordan-Dosier, 38, of Midland, was arrested on an Ector County failure to appear warrant for driving with an invalid license. Bond was set at $5,000. (CPD)

 

Saturday, May 14

  • Pedro Luis Angel Valverde, 29, of Zapata,  was arrested for public intoxication. They were fined $379. (DCSO)

Sunday, May 15

  • Leofrice Tilley III, 30, of Cuero, was arrested for intoxicated driving. Bond was set at $2,000. (DPS)
  • Daryll Ross Richards, 36, of San Antonio, was arrested for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, controlled substance possession in a drug-free zone and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. Bond was set at $30,000. (CPD)
  • Brittani Michelle Balli, 32, of Victoria, was arrested for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle and controlled substance possession in a drug-free zone.  (Bond was set at $20,000. (CPD)
  • Guadalupe McGinnis, 21, of Yorktown, was arrested for family violence. Bond was set at $4,000. (DCSO)
  • Keith William Gohlke Sr., 63, of Cuero, was arrested for family violence. Bond was set at $4,000. (CPD)

Monday, May 16

  • Sabian Xavier Rutten, 20, of San Antonio, was arrested on a probation violation warrant following an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon conviction. Bond was set at $30,000. (DCSO)

Tuesday, May 17

  • Edward Mendez, 46, of Cuero, was arrested for speeding and lacking a driver’s license. They were fined $665.60. (CPD)
  • Edward Mendez, 46, of Cuero, was arrested for intoxicated driving. Bond was set at $2,000. (DCSO) 

Wednesday, May 18

  • Naomi Garcia-Morales, 38, of Cuero, was arrested on a motion to revoke probation for criminal trespassing. No bond was awarded.  (DCSO) 
  • Patricia Ann Sellers, 53, of Yorktown, was arrested on a motion to revoke probation for controlled substance possession. Bond was set at $1,000. (DCSO)
  • Wade Matthew Gallegos, 34, of Yorktown, was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession. They were fined $510. (DCSO)
  • Christopher Allen Krenek, 22, of Cuero, was arrested for engaging in organized criminal activity. Bond was set at $30,000. (DCSO)
  • Qwentel Javar Denson, 37, of Cuero, was arrested for engaging in organized criminal activity. Bond was set at $30,000. (DCSO)
  • Alton Dwayne Dilworth,23, of Cuero, was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession. They were fined $648. (DCSO)
  • Genesis Madisol Cortines, 17, of Cuero, was arrested for marijuana possession in a drug-free zone and drug paraphernalia possession. Bond was set at $4,600. (CPD)
